In the July/August issue of Midnight Messenger we posed the question, Is Time Running Out'? In it, we speculated on the probability of an eminent attack on the sovereign nation of Iran (involving both nuclear and conventional weapons) by the U. S. and Israel. All that was needed was an adequate excuse to "decapitate" the Ahmadinejad regime by way of an aerial blitzkrieg that would destroy some 2,500 targets in Iran. Newsweek reported (September 1) that David Wurmser, Dick Cheney's just departed Middle East advisor, told a small group of advisors that Cheney had considered asking the Zionist state to launch a missile attack on the Iranian nuclear facility at Natanz. This, he believed, would provoke a retaliatory Iranian attack and thus create an adequate excuse for a massive American attack on Iran. Subsequently, this plan was modified and led to Israel's September 6 attack on an alleged nuclear facility in northern Syria.
The plot thickens. Early in September reports surfaced very briefly that on August 30 the "accidental" transportation of six stealth AGM-129 Advanced Cruise Missiles, each loaded with a W-80-1 nuclear warhead, from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, had resulted from an unprecedented "breakdown in security." Officially, the alleged screw up resulted from "security failures at multiple levels."
Such potentially catastrophic "blunders" or "mistakes" may appear in Keystone Kops movies, but they never, ever happen in real life - particularly where the United States Air Force and nuclear weapons are concerned."Security failures at multiple levels" just don't occur at such facilities. There are too many stringent regulations in place and enforced for such failures to occur.
The simple truth is that the order to load and ship those nuclear warheads on B-52s could only have come from the very highest levels of the federal government: George W. Bush or Dick Cheney. Such a command would have to have been given to top officials in Minot. The fact that nuclear weapons were, in fact, shipped from Minot to Barksdale proves that the command came from the very top and was obeyed by those in immediate charge of the weapons.
As Robert Stormer observed in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, 10/7/07, "We're not talking about paintball cartridges or pellet gun ammo. We are talking nuclear weapons. There is a strict chain of custody for such nuclearweapons. Nuclear weapons handling is spelled out in great detail in Air Force regulations... Every person who orders the movement of these weapons, handles them, breaks seals or moves any nuclear weapon must sign off for tracking purposes. Two armed munitions specialists are required to work as a team with all nuclear weapons.-. All security forces are authorized to use deadly force to protect the weapons from any threat. Nor does anyone quickly move a one-ton cruise missile - or forget about six of them, as reported by some news outlets, especially cruise missiles loaded with high explosives."
Standard operating procedure dictates that when nuclear weapons are moved within the United States the warheads are always separated from the missile, and are transported on military cargo aircraft, not hung under the wing of an operational B-52 bomber.
SPECULATION INTENSIFIED
Speculation as to what really happened is intensified by the fact that the nuclear warheads were flown on a B-52 bomber to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, which happens to be a staging area for military operations in the Middle East.
This brings us back to the Newsweek report (September 1) that Vice President Dick Cheney had said months earlier he was considering asking Israel to launch a missile attack on a Iranian nuclear facility. This, he believed, would provoke a retaliatory Iranian attack and thus create an adequate excuse for a massive American attack on Iran. Subsequently, this plan was apparently modified and led to Israel's September 6 attack on an alleged nuclear facility in northern Syria. Reports emerging from Air Force and intelligence sources indicate that the Israeli raid was designed to create a crisis that would provide a reason for a sustained Israeli attack on Syria and massive U.S. air strikes on Iran, using nuclear and conventional weapons. The plot was apparently derailed due to a revolt by top Air Force and intelligence personnel when they realized that the nuclear weapons were destined for the Middle East. They stepped in and stopped the shipment when it reached Louisiana in transit. It has been common knowledge for several years that top officials in the three branches of the armed forces are very much in opposition to the disastrous military policies of the Bush-Cheney, Israeli-dominated administration. [Interestingly, newspaper reports confirm that four Airmen from Mino thave died under mysterious circumstances since the B-52 nuclear warhead story broke in early September].
DID CHENEY GIVE THE ORDER?
Was the vice president the one who authorized the transfer of six nuclear weapons on an operational B-52 bomber from Minot to Barksdale, a staging area for military operations in the Middle East?
Dick Cheney, we must remember, was one of the leading members of the Zionist-led neo-conservatives who particularly from the mid-1990s on - declared their dedication to "rearranging" the Middle East so as to control it. They have dictated President Bush's foreign policy since he stepped into the Oval Office. They are also the ones who, in 1997, created The Project for the New American Century, and declared that "the process (of taking over the Middle East was) likely to be a long one absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor."
That "new Pearl Harbor," of course, conveniently occurred on September 11, 2001, with the destruction of the World Trade Center in New York, and damage to the Pentagon in Washington. Since that fateful day ever-increasing amounts of evidence has emerged showing that, at the highest level, the Bush administration was somehow involved in the attacks - and the massive coverup of the facts thereof.
Was neo-con Dick Cheney involved? Did he, for instance, have foreknowledge that planes were to be highjacked and used in the attacks? In late 2002, the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States was created by congressional legislation and the signature of President Bush. This was allegedly an "independent bipartisan commission chartered to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the attacks... including preparations for and immediate response to the attacks." What the American people got, less than two years later, was anything but what the Commission was asked to produce. Their infamous 9/11 Report was a gigantic coverup and denial of reality. Predictably, it was accepted and endorsed by all the "leading" politicians and by the Establishment media. The Report was on a par with the discredited 888-page 1964 Warren Report that resulted from the "official enquiry" into the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963.
First, the 9/11 Commission refused to hear important witnesses and then, in its final Report, covered up vital evidence. One such piece of evidence was testimony given by Norman Mineta, then Transportation Secretary. Mineta was in the Presidential Emergency Operations Center below the White House during the attacks of 9/11. Mineta testified under oath that at 9:26 a.m.(on 9/11) when a suspicious plane was seen on radar heading toward Washington, an unidentified young man came in and said to Cheney: "The plane is fifty miles out." At that time Mineta conferred with Acting FAA Deputy Administrator Monte Belger, who toldhim, "We're watching this target on radar, but the transponder has been turned off, so we have no identification."
Mineta testified that the young man continued to update Cheney. "The plane is 30 miles out ... the plane is 10 miles out." The young man then asked, "Do the orders still stand?" Responding, Cheney "whipped his neck around and said, 'Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?'" A few seconds later the "plane" (or whatever it was) hit the Pentagon, killing 125 occupants. What were "the orders" Cheney had issued? Mineta and others assumed that, under the circumstances, "the orders" were to shoot down any unidentified civilian plane that was way off course and headed toward an important target such as Washington. That assumption may have been false. Since that fateful day many have claimed the damaged sustained by the Pentagon on 9/11 was inconsistent with the "official" story that a Boeing 757 hit the Pentagon. Most experts say the damage sustained by the building is inconsistent with that claim. A 757 would have caused much wider damage, and would have left much more recognizable debris. The fact that, immediately after the Pentagon was hit, the FBI seized all surveillance footage of the event - and have since refused to release the tapes - strongly suggests the "official" story won't stand up to close scrutiny. [Did not exactly the same scenario follow the alleged Ryder truck demolition of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995? Evidence discovered later (but ignored by the government) proved the building was destroyed as a result of high explosives having been placed around strategic supporting pillars inside the building. Was the unidentified incoming "plane" (the responder of which had been turned off) that the vice president was repeatedly warned about in fact a missile as many have claimed? If Cheney had foreknowledge of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the "orders" may well have been to ignore it and let it hit its target. This would also account for the fact that the air defense system had been deliberately deactivated on 9/11 and thus allowed the two separate planes to hit the twin towers. This, of course, was "the catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor" planned by the neo-cons and which led to the Bush invasion of Iraq under a mass of false pretenses. Also fulfilled was their plan to place a massive military presence in the Middle East, with huge bases all over the area to protect the Zionist state of Israel and ensure control of the region's vast oil resources.
As a result of this nationally-disastrous move by George W. Bush, who so proudly boasts of being the great "decider," America is in grave trouble. As retired Lt.Gen Ricardo Sanchez (former commander of U.S. troops in Iraq)declared on October 13: "There is no question that America is living a nightmare with no end in sight... From a catastrophically flawed, unrealistically optimistic war plan, to the administration's latest surge strategy, this administration has failed to employ and synchronize the political, economic and military power" to win.
The retired general stated dogmatically that Washington still has never given the military the resources needed to win in Iraq. "The administration, Congress and the entire inter-agency, especially the State Department must shoulder the responsibility for this catastrophic failure and the American people must hold them accountable." (Stars and Stripes, Mideast edition, 10/13/07).
GREATEST DISASTER IN FOREIGN POLICY
The record clearly shows that for the United States as a nation the neo-con inspired Bush invasion of the sovereign nation of Iraq has been a catastrophic disaster. Thus far, an estimated 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed, and 2,000,000 more have fled the country the infrastructure of which has been largely destroyed. For the United States, this catastrophe has so far cost us 3,800 dead, 39,000 wounded, $1,000,000,000,000 in expenses, a severely divided population - and the contempt of most people overseas. They view America as a pariah. As former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright told an interviewer, "I am afraid Iraq is going to turn out to be the greatest disaster (ever) in American foreign policy" (Newsweek, 7/24/06).
Important question: Why has Bush's "catastrophically flawed" incursion into Iraq turned into "the greatest disaster in American foreign policy"? Why, in the face of all the evidence, does Bush keep pressing on, regardless? Why hasn't Bush's strategy been drastically revised? Was it planned that way?
Being internationalists, not true Americans, these events don't faze Bush, Cheney and the neo-cons. They have other objectives in mind. As pointed out in Midnight Messenger # 129, their primary objective is to split the Middle East up into smaller, more manageable, entities. The neo-cons are following a plan, A Strategy For Israel, authored by Oded Yinon and published in A Journal For Judaism and Zionism in 1982. Oded stated that: "The Arab Moslem world is built on a temporary house of cards put together by foreigners ... all made of combinations of minorities and ethnic groups that are hostile to one another, so that every Moslem state nowadays faces social destruction from within... Iraq is no different from its neighbors... The seeds of inner conflict are apparent today (1982) already. The dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically and religiously unique areas ... is Israel's primary target..." This would leave the neo-conned and Zionized Americans in control.
BUSH/CLINTON ALLIANCE?
This raises another important issue: Who will succeedGeorge W. Bush? A recent article by Pastor Chuck Baldwin called attention to "the Bush-Clinton Dynasty" - the close relationship that has existed since G.H.W. Bush was president and Clinton was governor of Arkansas. In the 1980-1990s they frequently vacationed together. Over the last 18 years the Bushes and Clintons have been instrumental in drastically changing the American political landscape.
Baldwin points out that "the Bushes and the Clintons are political soul mates" walking almost in lockstep... It was Clinton who originally proposed what became known as the Patriot Act. G.W. Bush succeeded where Clinton failed. It was Clinton who gave us NAFTA, something G.W. Bush has not only supported but expanded into the SPP and a burgeoning North American Community. And both are major players in the push for amnesty for illegal aliens. In addition, over the years both the Bush family and Bill Clinton have been heavily involved in drug smuggling. As Baldwin says, "the Bushes and Clintons are as close as America has gotten to a crime family dynasty."
Combined, the Bush/Clinton dynasty has virtually ruled America for the last 20 years. With so many crimes committed and skulls, bones, and bodies in their respective closets, they and their corporate friends are keen to perpetuate their criminal activities past January 2009 when W. leaves office. This explains another important but little reported story of the Bush/Clinton nexus that appeared in the Financial Times: "John Mack, Morgan Stanley's chief executive, invited senior staff to a fund raiser for Hillary Clinton....The minimum donation for the event was $1,000 per person, but Mr. Mack urged those attending to give $4,600, the maximum for the 2008 presidential campaign. When one considers that Mr. Mack was an important financial backer of President Bush in 2004 (he raised $200,000), this indicates that many in big business want to protect the status quo. Mack declared that Hillary Clinton has "consistently demonstrated a truly global perspective" (Financial Times).
British author Christopher Story (The New Underworld Order, The European Collective, etc.) is reporting on what he calls "Wantagate" - an attempted massive financial scam perpetrated by "the Bush and Clinton crime family dynasty" and their international co-conspirators. As reported in hi s ongoing articles, it involved trillions of dollars and is being perpetrated against major governments, banks, and leading individuals worldwide. Story states that this crime is partly responsible for the very unsteady conditions that have recently dominated financial markets (www.worldreports.com). If true, it further helps explain why former financial backers of George W. Bush are now jumping on the Hillary Clinton bandwagon. They want toextend the reign of the "Bush/Clinton crime family dynasty." As Edmund Burke said years ago, "Those who have been intoxicated by power ... can never willingly abandon it."

The American political scene, like so many other aspects of our society, is a seething cesspool of treachery and corruption. As someone observed recently, "Both parties are rotting corpses desperately in need of internment." Recognizing this truth, many are beginning to think "outside the box," politically. In the presidential race, they are turning to Ron Paul, the one and only candidate totally dedicated to the founding principles of the American Republic, expressed in the Constitution - the Supreme Law of the Land. An encouraging sign! (On the web, google "Ron Paul 2008" for much more information.).
Naturally, Ron Paul is hated by the Establishment. In spite of the power of his message and the fact that phone polls show him as the winner following most debates, the "mainstream" media does its best to ignore him. So much for their claim to fairness and integrity!
The ultimate problem with our once great nation is, of course, spiritual in nature. Over the last 50 years America, having rejected the biblical laws and principles upon which the Republic was founded, has degenerated into a deadly, jungle-like environment. In biblical terms, "our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour" (7 Peter 5:8). In this dangerous spiritual territory, Christians are like "sheep in the midst of wolves" (Matthew 10:16). To survive, we must "put on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil ... that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand"(Ephesians 6:11,13).
Individually, we need to develop spiritual "jungle eyes" in order to recognize the dangers and avoid ihe spiritual "land mines" and various pitfalls with which we are surrounded daily. It is only by having the eyes of our spiritual understanding enlightened that we can be wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. That can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ, the one who is "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6).

As a result of lack of due diligence, they were "caught" in a trap from which they were unable to escape.
The Alert newsletter (with Midnight Messenger) is designed to help readers recognize the causes for the effects they see all around them in society. It will hopefully help them to develop biblically-based knowledge and understanding of how to adequately cope with the sin-sick world in which we find ourselves.
