A Matter of National Survival

As we head toward the summer of 2006 important questions need to be asked - and answered. Can what was once known as the Constitutional Republic of the United States survive another 30 months of George W. Bush's "republican administration"? Can the United States survive another 30 months of our supposedly A republican Congress? In other words, can the United States survive another two and a half years of political double-talk, lies, unrestrained spending, unprecedented deficits, an exploding national debt, and utter contempt for the Constitution, the supreme Law of the Land?

Can the remaining shreds of our Constitution and Bill of Rights somehow survive the merciless onslaught to which they have been subjected by the two-term Bush administration? As political scientist George Harleigh, who served in the Nixon and Reagan administrations when presidential power became major issues, declared recently, A the Nixon administration has, for 30 years now, been the baseline to measure failure in the Republican Party. No more. George W. Bush has lowered the bar. We are now engaged " in a battle for the soul of America". The very future of this Republic may well rest on whether or not anyone can, or will, stop George W. Bush.

Another important question: If the republicans are swept out of office in the November mid-term election will it really make any difference relative to the welfare of the nation? Based on the track records of those thought to be potential " republican" and "democratic" presidential candidates, the answer appears to be a resounding, " NO."

Years ago, raising such serious questions about a " republican" president or a " republican" Congress would have appeared ridiculous. Regrettably, such is no longer the case.

END OF GENUINE REPUBLICAN PARTY

Of course, as readers of Midnight Messenger have long recognized, the idea of a genuine Republican Party essentially died when Barry Goldwater lost to Lyndon Johnson in the 1964 presidential election. During that campaign Goldwater declared that " extremism in the defense of liberty is no sin... Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." His stated purpose was to keep the Republican Party out of the hands of Eastern liberals (the new world order crowd). As a result, Goldwater's was in his own words, " branded as a fascist, a racist, a trigger-happy warmonger, a nuclear madman, and a candidate who couldn't win." With the Establishment and the controlled media so adamantly opposed to his candidacy, he failed to rouse the American electorate to the dangers they faced. He lost by a large margin.

In the wake of Goldwater's defeat came the nationally disastrous Vietnam War, the Johnson administration's final destruction of our constitutional money system, the ludicrously misnamed " Great Society" - and thus the creation of socialistic welfare state. As Alan Greenspan, then a private citizen but later (1987-2006) chairman of the Federal Reserve, wrote in The Objectivist in 1966, "Stripped of its academic jargon, the welfare state is nothing more than a mechanism by which governments confiscate the wealth of the productive members of a society to support a wide variety of welfare schemes. A substantial part of the confiscation is effected by taxation... The financial policy of the welfare state requires that there be no way for the owners of wealth to protect themselves. This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists= tirade against gold [constitutional money]... If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism against the gold standard."

A few years later, as chairman of the privately-own " Federal" Reserve System, Greenspan wholeheartedly embraced the " mechanisms by which the government confiscates the wealth of the productive members of society" and covered up the "shabby secret" of what he was doing. The results were predictable - the virtual destruction of the American economy, an ever-shrinking dollar, a National Debt approaching $9,000,000,000, 000 (that's $28,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States), and a total federal government long-term indebtedness estimated at $45,000,000,000, 000 (forty five trillion dollars).

FISCALLY INSANE POLICIES

Due to the politically-inspired but fiscally insane policies followed by the federal government in recent decades, the 1950 dollar is now worth 12 cents in purchasing power. That's a devaluation of 87 percent. To add insult to injury, the federal government has subsidized the exporting of millions of American jobs to Communist China. They are even borrowing billions of dollars from the communist China and elsewhere to finance the national debt. And yet none dare call this treason!

This catastrophe isn't the result of incompetence or stupidity on the part of our nation's leaders. It's something much worse. In 1920, John Maynard Keynes quoted Lenin as having said that, " the best way to destroy the capitalist system was to debauch the currency. By a continuing process of inflation governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens" (Economic Consequences of the Peace). What we have clearly witnessed over the last 50 years is the wilful, deliberate, premeditated, and carefully planned destruction of America in preparation for its absorption in the planned new world order. Those politicians - and there have been a few - who have spoken out against this treachery and have attempted to make the necessary changes, have been demonized. Their message has been misrepresented and distorted. They have been ridiculed, viciously attacked, and hounded out of office. As a result, our once proud Republic is teetering on the brink of social and economic disaster. " From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment" (Isaiah 1:6). As the United States has been destroyed from within - bankrupted politically, socially, morally, and spiritually B there is nothing of substance to prevent its imminent collapse.

AMERICA "URBAN RENEWED": SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROYED

As pointed out 26 years ago in Descent Into Slavery?, America is been " urban renewed" - systematically destroyed - to pave the way for the erection of a virtual concentration camp or what the late Dr. Carroll Quigley described as a " system ... controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by private agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences" (Tragedy and Hope, p.324).

It is important to note that recently most of the dirty work done on behalf of the Luciferian planners of a new world order has been performed by people posing as " republicans" or "conservatives." These people are, in reality, globalists dedicated to the destruction of national sovereignly and America's assimilation into a globalist plantation. As pointed out previously in Midnight Messenger, this whole scenario was planned decades ago. As Dr. Carroll Quigley pointed out in his 1966 book, Tragedy and Hope (p.1245), this called for a revolutionary change in American politics: a de facto merging of the two political parties. The argument that the two parties should represent opposing ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea.... Instead [it was decided by our hidden controllers] that the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people [could] > throw the rascals out, in any election without any profound or extensive shifts in policy. The policies that are vital and necessary for America [as seen through the eyes of the manipulators behind the scenes] are no longer subjects of significant disagreement, but are disputable only in details of procedure, priority, or method." (pgs. 1247-48). As the late George Wallace declared, " there's not a dime's worth of difference between the two parties." The on-stage "republican" and " democratic" puppets we see on the national political stage change regularly but the basic plan of destruction is never altered.

Did you get that, my deluded republican friends who think that by voting "republican" you are voting in the best interests of your country? Stop and think! Are you incapable of waking up to the fact that you've been conned? Due to your lack of alertness, you have unwittingly fallen prey to the political process called gradualism. Webster's Dictionary defines a " process" as, "A proceeding or moving forward ... gradual progress ... (involving) a series of motions and changes" toward a specific objective. This process has been so gradual over the last 40-50 years that the vast majority of Americans have been unable to grasp the grim predicament in which they now find themselves. In a political and psychological stupor as a result of having lost the battle for control of their minds, they appear incapable of understanding the fact that they have been criminally betrayed by their alleged representatives in Washington D.C. (The District of Criminals). American has been transformed or "remade" in an image very different to that envisioned by our Founding Fathers. Washington D.C. is truly enemy territory!

POLITICAL LANGUAGE From morning till night, Americans are bombarded with political rhetoric. The president and other leaders speak endlessly of the need to " protect the American people" and ensure that our nation will be safe and secure in the future. While few would disagree with the need to protect everything truly "American," such talk is purely political in nature and has little bearing in the real world.

George Orwell (Eric Arthur Blair) the famous author of the Big Brother novel 1984, in a 1946 essay titled Politics and the English Language, wrote of methods used to " dignify the sordid process of international politics." "Political language," he observed, " is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give the appearance of solidarity to pure wind."

How true! " We the People" of the United States wouldn' t need much " protecting" if the nation were governed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights and " laws made in pursuance thereof" ? (Article. VI).

In recent decades the federal government has had an unbroken record to enacting mostly-unconstitutional legislation that has taken away many of the Rights once guaranteed by the Constitution. It has abrogated to itself god-like powers never remotely envisioned by our Founders. Such ever-expanding government power was warned against by our first George W. (President George Washington): " Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." From being " one nation under God with liberty and justice for all," we are fast becoming one divided nation under continual government surveillance with few liberties and loads of injustice for most. It should of course be noted that this current, updated version of the Fearful Master was designed and manufactured by, and has grown exponentially under, our nation's latest George W. (George W. Bush). This has all been done under cover of his phony " war on terrorism." Each, in his own time, led revolutionary movements. George Washington led our nation to freedom. George W. Bush is leading us toward slavery!

An important question: If the Fearful Master is our "protector," who is there to protect the American people from their "protector"?

"I AM THE DECIDER. I DECIDE WHAT IS BEST"

President Bush's recent declaration that, " I am the decider, and I decide what is best," is reminiscent of the famous declaration of his imperial majesty, Louis XIV of France (1638-1750: " I am the State." Such a posture may well characterize George W. Bush's attitude toward those who want to preserve what is left of the " separation of powers" delineated in the Constitution. This arrogant, dictatorial side of George W. Bush's flawed character has manifested itself on numerous occasions. As reported earlier, Bush has been quoted as saying his job would be a lot easier if he were a dictator. As he has repeatedly displayed an impetuous disregard for representative government as an expression of the sovereign will of the people, he may well see himself as the personification of the state. As readers may remember, Adolph Hitler had a similar problem!

President Bush has claimed that God directs him in his decision-making. He has further declared that the Constitution, to which he has repeatedly sworn allegiance, is " just a g..damn piece of paper." Former Senator Jean Carnahan draws our attention to a passage from the video game, Warlords of the Accordland: "I am the Decider, my lords. I am one of the most respected Elves in The Whole of the Middle Earth. They fear me, yet they need me. I am the needed One."

Could it be that this is one of the video games Mr. Bush plays when he is not otherwise playing with the minds of the American public? Maybe before he' s finished he'll assume the role of The Terminator. Move over, Arnold! Who knows, it's a strange world!

As Charlie Savage of The Boston Globe reports, our imperial president has chosen to ignore more laws passed by Congress than any president in history, appending more than 750 laws with "signing statements" that say, in effect, he couldn' t care less about what the law says because, as a "wartime president" and "commander-in-chief," he can act as an American Fuhrer: Sieg Heil!

Savage continues, " President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution. Among the laws Bush said he can ignore are military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems, - whistle-blower' protections for nuclear regulatory officials, and safeguards against political interference in federally-funded research..."

"Far more than any predecessor, Bush has been aggressive about declaring his right to ignore vast swaths of laws - many of which he says infringe on power he believes the Constitution assigned to him alone as the head of the executive branch or the commander in chief of the military... Many legal scholars say they believe that Bush" s theory about his own powers goes too far and that he is seizing for himself some of the law-making role of Congress and the Constitution-interpreting role of the courts" (The Boston Globe, April 29, 2006).

As Savage further stated, " Bush is the first president in modern history who has never vetoed a bill, giving Congress no chance to override his judgments. Instead, he has signed every bill that reached his desk, often inviting the legislation's sponsors to signing ceremonies at which he lavishes praise on their work. Then, after the media and lawmakers have left the White House, Bush quietly files - signing statements - official documents in which a president lays out his legal interpretation of a bill for the federal bureaucracy to follow when implementing the new law. The statements are recorded in The Federal Register.

"In his signing statements, Bush has repeatedly asserted that the Constitution gives him the right to ignore numerous sections of the bills - sometimes including provisions that were the subject of negotiations with Congress in order to get lawmakers to pass the bill. He has appended such statements to one of every 10 bills he has signed."

In another article, the same source further reported: " When President Bush signed the reauthorization of the US Patriot Act ... he included an addendum saying that he did not feel obliged to obey requirements that he inform Congress about how the FBI was using the Act's expanding police powers... Bush said he did not consider himself bound to tell Congress how the Patriot Act powers were being used and that, despite the law= s requirements he could withhold information. Bush wrote: The executive branch shall construe the provisions ... that call for furnishing information to entities outside the executive branch ... in a manner consistent with the president's constitutional authority to supervise the unitary executive branch and to withhold information...

Bush's expansive claims of the power to bypass laws [and thus be a law unto himself, MM editor], have provoked increased grumbling in Congress. Members of both parties have pointed out that the Constitution gives the legislative branch the power to write the laws and the executive branch the duty to " faithfully execute" them (Boston Globe, March 24, 2006)

"IT WAS A SETUP ...IT WAS REHEARSED"

We have written at length about George W. Bush's overwhelming arrogance and his unwillingness to admit - despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary - to having made any mistakes. For a fleeting few seconds on May 26 some may have been tempted to believe he had learned a few lessons from all his blunders. During a joint press conference with British prime minister Tony Blair, he appeared to accept some responsibility for the disastrous decisions he had made. This hope was, however, shattered within hours by the revelation that it had been a carefully staged event. On the way to Washington Blair had requested that British reporters ask Bush a certain question. Blair then advised the White House that the question was going to be asked. " It was a set up from start to finish," said one of the British journalists. This was later confirmed by two White House sources. Bush was waiting with his scripted answer.

Close to the end of the news conference Blair set the tone: " You guys, come on, I want you to - the British delegation, ask a few serious questions." The set up came in the second question: " Mr. President, you spoke of missteps and mistakes in Iraq. Could I ask ... which missteps and mistakes of your own you most regret."

Bush immediately answered: " Sounds like kind of a familiar refrain here - saying bring it on., kind of tough talk you know, that sent the wrong signal to people... Wanted dead or alive, that kind of talk.... I think the biggest mistake that's happened so far , at least from our country's involvement in Iraq, is Abu Ghraib. We've been paying for that for a long period of time...."

As Newsweek correspondent Richard Wolffe observed: " Of course, it was very rehearsed, everything from the mannerisms we saw, the upward glance up at the ceiling for inspiration. And for me, the big giveaway was at the end of the answer. I don't know if you could see it on camera, but the president flashed a big grin to those of us in the front rows. It didn't seem that he was so contrite as his performance."

THE HADITH " MASSACRE"

President Bush's nation-dividing misadventure in Iraq continues to escalate, with one disaster following another. The latest catastrophe to come to light was the revelation that, some six months ago, there was a mass slaughter of innocent civilians in the western Iraqi city of Haditha. Army authorities may well have attempted to coverup what happened. As we go to press, many details have yet to come to light. As NBC SanDiego reports: "The details of what happened in Haditha are still murky. What is known is that a bomb rocked a military convoy and left one Marine dead. Marines then shot and killed unarmed civilians in a taxi at the scene and went into two homes and shot other people... The Marine Corp had initially attributed 15 civilian deaths to the car bombing and a firefight with insurgents, eight of whom the Marines report had been killed..." (NBC San Diego, May 30, 2006).

"Two Marines were severely traumatized after following orders to photograph corpses of unarmed Iraqi civilians whom members of their own unit are suspected of killing. The parents of Lance Cpl. Andrew Wright, 20, and Lance Cpl. Roel Ryan Briones, 21, both members of the Marine unit based at Camp Pendleton, said their sons were sent into ... Haditha to help remove the bodies of as many as two dozen men, women, and children who were shot.... It was horrific. It was a terrible scene," said Susie, Ryan Briones' mother. Mrs. Briones said her son was also sent to clean up the bodies of the civilians. "He had to carry this little girl's body, and her head was blown off and her brain was spattered on his boots."

[A somewhat similar incident happened during the Vietnam War. On March 16, 1968, American troops, led by Lt. William Calley, massacred innocent civilians at the village of My Lai. In 1971 Calley was court-martialed and sentenced to life imprisonment for premeditated murder. He was released on parole in 1974].

SO MUCH PIOUS CANT

It is now generally acknowledged that Bush= s unwarranted invasion of the sovereign state of Iraq has turned into a catastrophe for the United States. But this is almost certainly not a calamity for those behind-the--scenes manipulators who use war and chaos to further their ultimate nefarious agenda B the creation of what British author Christopher Story terms The New Underworld Order. Out of Chaos comes Order.

The long-term Illuminati plan calls for the creation of worldwide chaos and confusion so that the people of the world will cry out for the restoration of Order by whatever means necessary. Albert Pike, Sovereign Grand Commander of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, an avowed Luciferian and top Illuminist of the late 1800s, stated that their ultimate plan was to "unleash the Nihilists and the Atheists, and ... provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horrors will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, citizens obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate these destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass [direction], anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the pure light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out into the public view, a manifestation which will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time." Out of Chaos comes Order - the New World Order! (See Fourth Reich of the Rich, pgs. 62-71).

What has happened in Iraq may well have been planned that way for purely long-term political purposes. All the talk about planning to leave their country in the hand of Iraqis following the establishment of a "democracy" is so much pious cant. Actions speak much louder than words. At this very moment the Bush administration is in the process of constructing the biggest embassy in the world on a 104-acre plot of prime real estate in Baghdad. It is the size of Vatican City in Italy. Worldwide, most American embassies occupy ten acres or less.

The estimated cost of this monstrosity (which will comprise 21 buildings, its own water wells, an electric plant, and a water treatment facility - plus restaurants, a cinema, a gymnasium, tennis courts, and a club for evening functions, making it completely independent of Iraq), is a whopping $1, 300, 000, 000. The fact that this massive new structure is being built at the same time as major American military facilities are under construction all across Iraq (and in other nearby nations) is a strong indication to many Iraqis that America (aka, the new world order) is there to stay. It also reinforces their suspicions that Bush launched the invasion of Iraq to grab its oil, gain control the Gulf region, and instal a puppet regime in Baghdad. The additional conviction of many that the protection of the Zionist state of Israel was also high up on the list of Bush's war priorities was greatly strengthened by the March 2006 release of a research paper titled The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy. Written by John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt, and published by Harvard University, the 41-page report (with 40 pages of Endnotes) proves that " the overall thrust of the U.S. policy in the [Gulf] region is due ... especially to the activities of the Israel Lobby" (p.1). The authors then ask, " Why has the United States been willing to set aside its own security to advance the interests of another state?" Good question!

As Midnight Messenger readers know, this follows a plan clearly laid out years before President Bush invaded the once sovereign nation of Iraq (see, Issue #108, March/April 2003). That plan was published in the year 2000 by The Project For The New American Century, a neo-con operation dominated by Zionist Jews. It stated that, " the United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf region security. While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides [present tense, 2000] the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein."

We should always bear in mind that this mess in Iraq resulted from the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York, which evidence increasingly indicates involved U.S. cooperation at the highest level. The Bush administration is striving desperately to coverup this fact, but appears to be failing in its efforts. Under cover of the resultant phony " war on terrorism," Mr. Bush pushed through the deceitfully named " Patriot Act" and " Homeland Security" legislation which have enabled him to erect a potential Hitlerian Police State.

WHO WILL NEED " PROTECTION" AND " SECURITY" ?

Stop and think! Could it be possible that the true purpose behind these draconian pieces of legislation is not, as advertised, for the " security" of the American " homeland" in general? Is it possible they were in fact designed to ultimately " protect" and make " secure" from unrestrained public wrath those treacherous politicians in both parties when the fabled "America Dream" collapses under the weight of its betrayal by rulers? When that traumatic event finally shakes the world to its foundation, many honest, law-abiding and patriotic citizens will certainly cry out for vengeance upon the perpetrators of these dastardly crimes? These traitors who have betrayed their country at every point of the compass will certainly need all the protection they can get!

Such a scenario makes sense to me. How about you?

In 1970, economist C.V. Myers declared that when the administration of Texan Lyndon B. Johnson, severed the dollar from its Constitutional roots (Silver, Article 1, Section 10) he set in motion a "steamroller of destruction" that would devastate our nation. Myers further declared there was now " no remedy." America's financial fate was sealed. "If the Lord were to send an emissary of his own, this emissary could not [prevent economic disaster]. He could not stop it because if we concede that the Lord's laws are natural laws only, then all natural laws would have to be cancelled and reversed if the emissary of the Lord could cure it. If he could cure it in any other way, he would have to defeat the Lord and all the natural laws than man has known since his birth on this planet" (Conservative Viewpoint, June, 1970).

Now, after 36 years of the most nationally destructive fiscal and political policies ever recorded in the annals of human history, another Texan is in the White House. Will George W. Bush be instrumental in completing the national demolition job by driving LBJ's " steamroller of destruction" through the few remaining shreds of fiscal responsibility, and plunge our nation over the edge of the cliff and into the abyss? The piper will keep hammering on the door until he's paid!

BOTTOM LINE
